We absolutely love this gorgeous Lincoln Harrison print, featured this week on LTD. by CanvasPop. It’s the kind of photo you can get lost in, there’s so much depth to it — we just can’t stop staring! You can own this print for as little as $49 for a 12×18″, or $99 for a 16×24″ canvas. We think bigger is better in this case!
Lincoln Harrison hails from Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, and gave us some insight on how he shot the photo which he calls “Stairway to Heaven”:
“The image is a blend of 2 shots, the first was taken about an hour after sunset with a crescent moon behind the camera to illuminate the rock and the land on the horizon (360sec ISO100 f2.8). The second shot was taken about 4 hours later when the moon had set and the sky was completely dark (15sec iso6400 f2.8).
The image was taken at Lake Eppalock in central victoria, Australia.”
Lincoln Harrison is a 38 year old photographer, born and raised in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. When he bought his first camera two years ago to photograph some eBay items, he had no intention of taking up photography.
“I went out and shot some landscapes to use a as a desktop wallpaper for my pc and became hooked,” says Harrison. “I mainly do seascapes and startrail/night sky shots.”
He currently balances photography with a full time job, and hopes to commit to photography full-time in the near future.
