As one of the most populous cities in the world, Hong-Kong’s architecture is continually rising to accomodate it’s ever growing culture. Seeing the expansion, and contrasting looks of the buildings in the city, French artist Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze started snapping these exquisite photographs for his new book.
Titled “Vertical Horizons”, the 160-page book features a collection of uniquely composed photos giving readers a completely different perspective and look at the city from the ground up. Mostly, the photographs aim to depict the beautiful diversity and magnitude of the city’s superstructures — both residential and commercial.
What do you think of Jacquet-Lagrèze’s portrayal of Hong-Kong, and it’s “race to the sky”? We’d love to hear your take!
