Do you love black and white photography as much as we do? Then you may want to check out the iPhone app Camera Noir by Pacific Helm. The easy to use app is specifically designed for taking amazing black and white shots with your phone. It’s an incredibly basic app — but it’s perfect features help create the perfect photo.
Most mobile photo applications have endless amounts of filter, and editing options which can be a bit unnecessary. Camera Noir boasts only 3 filters options, which we find pretty refreshing. As soon as you have the app launched on your phone, you’ll automatically be in camera mode. The in app camera features a horizon line, and square crop lines for sharing optimization. Choose from 3 contrast modes: Lo, Med, or Hi. Tap your finger on the screen to light up a portion of the image, and snap away.
Voila! You now have an elegant, moody, black and white image ready to share. Once you’ve captured your photo, it will automatically be saved to your camera roll. Click on the image to share with any of your already available apps.
Camera Noir is available for your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch with an iOS of 6.0 or later. You can buy it here at the iTunes store, for just $1.99.
