A unique, and über-interesting photo series by photographer Thierry Cohen, ‘Darkened Cities’ gives you a glimpse at the world without all that light pollution. Cohen started by snapping photos of some of the largest cities in the world — Paris, Hong Kong, New York City, Los Angeles. He then edits each of those photos to remove all electricity, and install a beautiful, star-lit sky.
The results are breath-taking if you ask us! The cities look sleepy, and serene. The night sky is returned back to its natural state, and illuminates everything underneath it. It’s a beautiful sight to see. What do you think of Cohen’s photo series? Share with us in the comments!
