They say a dog’s nose print is as unique as a fingerprint. Canines are also known to use their snouts to communicate with, and explore their surroundings. These are just a few of the reasons why we’re so intrigued with this playful photo series by German photographer Elke Vogelsang.
Titled “Nice Nosing You”, the series features some very up close and personal shots of dog’s noses. Vogelsang used dark lighting, and a wide angle lens to capture her unique shots. In an interview with Mashable, she mentions: “My dogs are my joy and recreation, I love spending time with them. These pictures are just the result of my photography addiction, the wish to try to capture unusual pictures and the try to show my dog’s beauty and character.”
