An underwater photoshoot is no easy task. It involves a lot of skill, patience, expensive equipment, and so much more. In this case an underwater photoshoot consisted of a highly trained photographer, a team of freediving models, 7 support divers, and special permission to utilize a 50-year-old underwater shipwreck in Bali.
Benjamin Von Wong is a Montreal-based photographer who is known for his extremely complex photoshoots. He spearheaded this impressive series of photos taken 25 meters below the ocean’s surface, in some of the most extreme and limiting conditions.
Relying heavily on natural light due to the circumstances, Wong managed to capture these incredible images. To say that we’re impressed would be an understatement. In this day and age it can be so rare to see photos such as these, that were not created digitally or in studio. What do you think of Wong’s epic underwater photo series?
