Dads are great, but how well do you know yours? That’s the question we posed to some of our team members to honor Father’s Day that is coming up this weekend. We think the resulting video turned out pretty darn cute.
We’re obsessed with this video by Grey London. It was originally created as an audio visual installation in conjunction with Schwartz Flavour Shots, a range of herb and spice blends locked in oil. The video features dozens of bags of spices exploding in harmony to a soundtrack. Doesn’t sound like much to you? Watch the video.
The video is expertly shot, visually mind-blowing, and oddly satisfying to watch on repeat. We can’t seem to get enough of the colors, the soundtrack, and the beautiful close up shots showing the different spices mingling. This is a very cool idea … Read more
We love this video by Filippo Rivetti and Tatiana Poliektova, which was an experiment that blends traditional animation and timelapse photography. Their goal? To tell a story and be featured at Tropfest Australia 2014 — the world’s largest short film festival.
When describing the inspiration for his film, Rivetti says: “Living in the modern world we are too busy with our daily routines and addicted to technologies that sometimes we forget that the real beauty of this world is right in front of our eyes.” The film consists of breathtaking outdoor scenes, broken up by bits of … Read more
We love our company, we love our culture. We try to put as much time and effort into keeping both things as unique and remarkable as possible. In keeping with that faith, we recently introduced a hack-a-thon event that we dubbed ‘Create at CanvasPop‘.
For two days all CanvasPop employees were given free reign to work on anything that inspires them, so long as it adds value to our company. Teams from across different departments came together to collaborate on some amazing projects — improvements on internal systems, website add-ons, new iPhone apps, a company library, a keg-orator, … Read more
We’re so fascinated by the vast, always changing night-time sky. To capture all of its beauty is an impossible feat, but one this video comes pretty close to doing. To say this video is incredible would be an understatement — it is unquestionably mesmerizing. Unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
Shot by Michigan-based photographer, Vincent Brady, the video is titled “Planetary Panoramas“. Brady used a unique technique by shooting thousands of 360 degree panoramas in the daytime, as well as long exposure videos of the stars at night. He stitched the footage together in this video, creating … Read more
Über talented illustrator, Marcello Barenghi, is our latest YouTube crush. His channel features dozens of impressive timelapse videos of him drawing photo-realistic, everyday objects. We wanted to share some of our favorites with you, which include him drawing a fried egg, a Euro, a silver teapot, and a set of cards.
His attention to detail is astounding, and the final product — out of this world. We could watch him work all day long, and we’re not the only ones! Some of his videos have reached over 2 million views. What do you think of Barenghi’s artistic ways? Let … Read more
This video is a beautiful piece of art in its own right. The animation, characters, music, and wordless storytelling all blend together to contrive a truly imaginative short-film. The video is titled “11 Paper Place“, and was directed by Vermont-based filmmaker Daniel Houghton.
The story is based on two 8.5 x 11″ pieces of office paper that magically come to life as a man and woman. The two meet upon entering a recycling bin and immediately fall madly in love.
The world they live in is a complex city constructed entirely of other bits of recycled paper … Read more
